Saturday July 10th
Last Saturday saw the opening Parakeet tournament of the year. The constant threat of rain could not put off the hardened faithful, or perhaps it was the promise of Jeff’s famous hot wings…
The format for the day was 7 doubles in a round robin, the end of which produced 2 teams of unbeaten finalists, Alan & Aleksey vs Dave & Linda.
First off it’s goes without saying that to go 7 games unbeaten is a difficult challenge, so hats off to the finalists, but there can only be 1 winner.
