Every year we host 3 competitions. These comps are for parakeet members or invited players only. But all are welcome to come and watch.
The first of the season is a Doubles comp in July and is named after and indeed hosted by one of our Club Ambassadors - Jeff Baptista. The Baptista Invitational will this year be held on SATURDAY 10th JULY.
The Parakeet Petanque Doubles comp is annually held on the August bank holiday, this year Sunday 29th. Teams are drawn out of a hat on the morning of the comp with the previous years holders the only pre confirmed team. Last years winners were Linda and Cem.
The final comp of the year is held in September and is a singles tournament, this year being held on saturday the 11th. Last year our club Chairman Josh Freeborn bested Ben Farragh is a hotly contested final.
